Light House

(my sister, i think she looks cute in this photo, thats why i putting her one instead of mine)

Alright, this article suppose to be put on couple days ago but then you know...i am sure you can understand Russell.

One week ago, i went to see this light house, just to get a experience and a early Christmas feeling. I was amazed by the way it is been decorated. It is huge! It looks like a candy house, which was in one of the bed-story that i had read.
There was a lot of people standing in front of the light house and ice-cream car in front of it, i am sure it is a good way to make money.

Me and my sister were like those Asian tourists (but the fact is we are Asian) keep taking photos with this castle thing. It make us looks very .... embarrassing, but it was fun! i never experience this kind of thing before. Maybe i should decorate my house as well, when i get back to Taiwan. I am pretty sure there is enough space to park a ice-cream car in front of my house, it will be cool

Christmas Shopping

Yes, i know i haven't been update for a long time and that is not a good blogger should be doing. Sorry, i am just been really busy lately. Specially when Christmas is coming but then you still got a lot of other things you need to do.

One day i was researched for the poster for Ros's class and i saw this one, i think it is perfect to use it at this time because it remind me to do the Christmas shopping quickly, but then i guess it doesn't really help, i still did my Christmas shopping in the last minutes. this id just a funny poster to look at thats all.

This is my first Christmas in Australia, usually i will go oversea, back to Taiwan for holidays. this year i decided not to go back instead of staying with my friends and home-stay. It is kind of fun, but i also spend a lot of money on shopping as well. not just for Christmas present but also my personal stuff, sorry i just can't help myself because everything is on sales!

in Taiwan we don't really celebrate our Christmas. we would have all the Christmas trees, the bells and decoration stuffs but then it is not like a family day that relatives can get together. In fact it is more like a valentine's day. Usually it is a day for young people to go out watch movie or have dinner together and stuff. I remember when i was in junior high, i used to buy all these Christmas car and send them to everyone that i know, usually i can send about 50 cards in every single year, and i can receive about 40 of cards per a year. Apparently cards are very cheap in Taiwan, it is a bit crazy.Back to the old days,It was fun, i guess Christmas in Taiwan is not so bad. I like it.

anyway, hope you have a good Christmas. if you haven't done the Christmas shopping yet, better go and get the presents now. don't worry about this sign that i put up, i guess last minute shopping is not to bad, you can fine cheap but good quality stuff

cheers xx

Im a victim of facebook

For some reason i joining the internet program "FaceBook", i have to admit that i am obsessed with this internet program and obviously become a money maker for Mark Zuckerberg. i just realized how much time i spend on this thing and how how much i been affect by today's technology.
surprise me, i didn't know i can be drag by such unrealistic program, i mean...aren't the things that they create are all fake? but...still... I'd constantly apply those unreal application on my facebook such as water fight and throwing those water balls on other people's wall that won't even blow up and make them wet, or i will send those Christmas present that i can't even offered the price, and most funnest, i have a squirrel as my pet! people like to come around and give him pat by clicking a bottom! what is this all about?!

I remember i used to laugh about my sister playing those online games. Now i feel like i become one of those people that i used to laugh of all the time, i thought i will never put myself into these unrealistic stuffs, things that i thought i will never like and get obsessed with...but facebook just makes me want more...

Then i realized i just put myself in those situation i most don't wanna to be, like checking my friend list and compare with other people see how popular i am and how many people i know. Or go on my web page and see if there is any people write on my well or send me a Christmas present, but all of these, are the things that i been trying to do for the past few months...

So i have to make a conclusion that no one can get away from these things! In fact, Internet and false human lives are really dig down to our real world and our mind and the true is we all become the victim of our own creation. Well unless i am, and you?

Chloe's 21st

On Friday night we went to Chloe's 21 st birthday party, she is so beautiful.

Miming, Faye and Chloe

Me with Faye, Miming and Chloe

Three of us, Asians, Ha Ha

It was a good night, the party was fun except one thing...the time was too short!
why i would think the time is too short? that is because i forgot to bring my ID!!! How stupid am I, yes i know, tell me about it, i just don't want to remind myself about it anymore. Miming say it's such a bad experience, because both of us forgot to being our ID... So miming and i went home to get our ID after fail convincing the security guard to let us in.

It took us one hour to get back to the party location, by the time we arrived it was 11 already. So we didn't get to see of the class met, it is really sad, because we didn't get the chance to take photos with them, so can someone send me the photo of your guys? If we cut off the ID incident part, last night was all very good,i had three shots and one vodka with orange juice, i shouldn't drink them straight away with my empty stomach, they makes me dizzy. i like the cup cake as well they were really nice. last night I get to know Chloe's mum, they look really similar, she was talking about the speech which i was unfortunately miss out on.

After all it was alright, unless Chloe had a fun night! thats the most important thing, yeah? once again Happy Birthday Chloe!

Lets Shop

Yesterday i went shopping! Because i need to buy a present for a friend's birthday. i didn't go to class that morning because i was wake up late so i decide to go the other class just to cover that up. anyway so i got a whole free day, it was relaxing but also painful, i just this little flue at the moment probably because all the late sleeping.

In the afternoon i took the train to Miranda and meet up my friend Kat (cell leader). we are very efficient, finishing buying everything in the first shop that we went in "Tree of Life". This summer they got a lot of new dresses and colorful stuffs which really excited me, so i got myself this flower patten top, it looks really 60's, Kat say she is going to borrow it occasionally and she probably won't give it back to me. Kat loves 60's style to a ridiculous level, for example she went to see "Hair Spray" (a singing genre movie with 60's story background and they John Travolta dress up a a fat women) for 10 times in different theater with different friends, but she is cool; i love her.

I have to admit the true that i am such a materials person who spending parents's labor money all the time, it is not very good, i rather to have my own money to spend, but i just don't have a job yet. Maybe i should apply "Tree For Life", it is a nice store and the most benefit is to get some discount ha!

Anyway, summer is coming, so i guess it is not too spoil to buy a top for yourself, is that right girls?

Matt Corby

On Sunday Matt Corby, who sang "Evermore's It's Too Late" and "The Beatles'classic Across The Universe", won acclaim from judges. Matt really stamped himself as a major contender to reach the final of Australia Idol -(Geelong Advertiser 12/11/07)

For some random reason i start watching Australia Idol, probably because my sister announced that there is a guy who goes to our church sings in Australia idol. then i start watching it....

It is really interesting to look at someone who you see in the realistic life, goes on the TV show and become so famous. i personally don't know him but i remember i was in the church and set 5 step away from him. My "cell" leader (group leader also my friend) knows him from church , she went to Australia Idol for visiting and while she was talking to Matt Corby and Daniel Mifsud during the break, all the girls were staring at her and saying Oh My God she knows them! so she feel kind of cool afterwards. It is funny to see how people can be famous in a short amount of time, to see how young people crazy about idols are interesting as well.

However, seeing Matt Corby sing on the stage is really cool, i believe everyone from "shire live" (church) is proud of him. Tonight, he finally get in to the final competition! My sister was screaming about it. Although it is really sad to see Carl Riseley leaving the show. To be honest i didn't expect Carl to go on that far in the Australia Idol, i really like him and he has improve a lot from competition. If you are a fan of Australia hope you enjoying the show as much as i do. For people who don't watch it, you may like to watch the final just to give Matt Corby and Natalie Gauci a support, cheers!

Ramen

The weather of Sydney is been up and down, warm and cold during November spring time. it was a raining day on Thursday, i need to wake up early for Julia's class. it wasn't too bad actually, i like the weather like this, because i don't need to feel guilty to snuggle in front of the TV or hiding under the blanket and read my favor novel. Raining can always be a good excuse for me not to wash the clothes.

There is another reason why i like raining day, Ramen. Ramen is a type of Japaneses noodle for those isn't familiar with the word. when the weather is a bit chilly and cold, Ramen is the best choose that you can have, because it really warm you up. So, i went to this restaurant called "Minya" with Miming and Jessie on last Thursday, i love what they have and they all go on the top of my food list."Minya"is a Japaneses restaurant which make tradition Ramen and other Japaneses meals, it is located at Quay st, the ground flour of prince center just in front of Insearch building. "Minya"already becoming my "spot" that i go and have lunch with my friends. It is a nice place but because the shop is not very big thus it can be crow sometime with a lot people going and coming. anyway if you are interesting in it or having a bad mood during raining day maybe you will like to consider about it, and yet who doesn't like food!?
