I believed everyone knows about the book “Sense and Sensibility” or “Pride and Prejudice”, in fact the second one is my favor novel. However, they were both written by Jane Austen and published in 1811 and1813. In both novels, there always have a good ending for the romantic couples. Then we all thought Jane Austen’s love story would be as lovely as the story presented in these books; but in the reality Jane Austen’s real life, love story, wasn’t as perfect as her works. But her experience from loose her love in difficult circumstances did give her a grace to create her fascinating works.

In the movie "Becoming Jane",Jane Austen (Anne Hathaway) is the younger daughter of a minister, her father and mother who has yet to find a suitable husband. She wishes to be a writer but a woman like her at that time would be wished to marry to a wealthy man who can take care of her. She refused many marriage arrangements including a numerous men Mr. Wisley’ proposes. “It is not until the mischievous Thomas Lefroy , a promising lawyer with a reputation (who becomes the inspiration for Pride and Prejudice's Mr. Darcy) (James McAvoy) shows up in town that Jane begins to take marriage seriously. After a bad first impression, Jane cannot stand the self-centered Londoner but the two get to know each other and eventually fall in love.” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Becoming_Jane) Tom takes Jane to London to try and convince his uncle, to let him marry Jane. His uncle refuses by knowing that Jane is a girl from a poor family…

The whole story is really similar to the novel “Pride and Prejudice”, the only different is the girl in the books get to marry who she loves and Jane has never marry but she chose to live spiritually and spend her whole life with her pen.

After watching this move “becoming Jane” I can not stop thinking about it, I guess it is because I need to face the fact that reality is reality, it is not always perfect. Sometime people can only just deliver their dreams in the unreal world and hoping someone can accomplish their story, to reach the “happy ever after”.
